JOB SUMMARY
The HR Officer plays a vital role in supporting HR operations for HQ staff and providing direct support to the HR team at field offices. The role involves maintaining accurate employee files, supporting HR administrative processes, and contributing to recruitment and onboarding when needed. The HR Officer is expected to bring strong HR knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to support multiple HR functions, ensuring compliance and efficiency in HR operations.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Recruitment and Selection: 
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs. 
  • Post job advertisements and manage the recruitment process. 
  • Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and facilitate the hiring process. 
Onboarding and Orientation: 
  • Organize and conduct orientation sessions for new employees. 
  • Ensure all necessary paperwork and documentation are completed. 
  • Assist new hires in acclimating to their roles and the organization's culture. 
Performance Management: 
  • Follow up on conducting performance appraisals with HQ and FO direct managers. 
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on performance-related matters. 
Employee Benefits and Compensation: 
  • Administer employee benefits programs such as health insurance and leave policies. 
  • Provide information and assistance to employees regarding their benefits and compensation. 
Core HR functions: 
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases. 
  • Support contract management by preparing, updating, and archiving employment contracts and amendments
  • Process payroll and managing timesheets and supporting documents.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as drafting employment contracts and letters.
  • Ensure adherence to employment standards and MedGlobal policies.
  • Generate and update HR reports, trackers, and dashboards as required.
  • Provide administrative and logistical support for HR meetings, trainings, and staff activities.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee data and ensure secure handling of HR files.
  • Perform additional tasks as required by the HR Coordinator and HR Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
  • University degree in HR, business administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of progressive experience in HR operations, employee file management, or HR administration.
  • Solid understanding of HR processes and documentation standards.
  • Experience with recruitment processes (advertising, screening, shortlisting) is desirable.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Arabic.
  • Strong organizational skills with a high level of accuracy.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and HR software/systems.
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks remotely.
  • Previous experience in NGOs/INGOs is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $1,300 - $1,800 monthly
